Jubilee Weekend Details
Details of Allestree's Jubilee Weekend plans released
Allestree will be coming together to celebrate HM Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee in style for 4 days from Thursday 2nd June - Sunday 5th June 2022.
There's lots planned including:
- Jubilee Trail.
- You can enter your homes and business into the trail and you could win a prize for the best decorated.
- Jubilee display.
- a beautiful display of Jubilee related treasures at Allestree Library.
- Message book for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
- This is your chance to send best wishes from your families and businesses to the Queen.
- Classic cars.
- Why not bring your classic car along. You can register your classic and show it off.
- Tug-of-war
- Enter your team and compete for the Allestree Tog-of-war Trophy.
- Art and Poetry competition
- Either create your masterpiece in advance, or come to the Library and create it on the day.
- Street parties
- Private street parties across Allestree.
