The Winners of Allestree Jubilee Art & Poetry Competition
Thanks and well done to everyone who entered the Art & Poetry competition over Jubilee Weekend.
The standard were really high and the judges had a tough job deciding which entries would win.
Honourable mentions go to Sally Souter and Ernest Redfern for their excellent Art entries.
From Lawn School the Art Competition winner is Milo and the runner up is Milan.
From Walter Evans School the Art competition winner is the Out of School Club and the runner up is Hazel.
The winner of the Poetry competition is Elliot and the runner up is Thea.
From Portway School the winner of the Art Competition is Emily and the runner up is Florence.
The winner of the Poetry competition is Bronwyn and the runner up is Evelyn.
From the Art competition entries made directly to Allestree Alliance's completion at Allestree Library, the winner is Evie and the runner up is Ava.
And a special thank you, from Allestree Alliance, goes to Sandra Swarbroock who worked hard to host the event. Here's Sandra receiving a certificate of thanks from Ged Potter, one of Allestree Alliance's Directors.
